Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2016/17 – Released

club managerClub managers have a legal obligation to provide a workplace that is safe and healthy for employees and patrons. Pro-Visual Publishing, in cooperation with the National Safety Council of Australia Foundation, has released the latest edition of the Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety now with interactive Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities.

With the element of AR, guides are transformed into a portal for further information and resources pertaining to the Clubs Industry using the free Pro-Vis AR app. Displaying the Guide will assist Club Managers in meeting their WHS obligations as well as provide essential health and safety information to all workers within the club.

The Guide covers a range of topics including:

· Workplace health and safety training and induction.

· Temperature control for food, fridges and display units.

· Dealing with intoxicated patrons.

Along with these topics, the interactive Guide also provides guidelines for what to do during an armed robbery, as well as how to utilise the hierarchy of control to reduce risks. It is an essential resource for all club managers to ensure they are meeting their legal obligations to keep their employees and patrons safe.

“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2016/17. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.”
