Supply Chain, Warehouse & Distribution Guide to Workplace Safety 2016/17 – Released

Did you know, that current figures, reported by Safe Work Australia, state that there have been 76 worker fatalities in Australia so far this year. Unfortunately, the transport, postal and warehousing sector is leading in this tragic figure with the highest fatality rate of 24 deaths.

It is quite an alarming statistic, considering the transport, postal and warehousing sector accounts for around 5.3% of the total Australian workforce and employs approximately 628,600 persons. The safety and health of all these individuals is imperative therefore, and to assist with making this a priority, Pro-Visual Publishing, in collaboration with the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) and the Australasian Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS AU), has released this year’s edition of the Supply Chain, Warehouse and Distribution Guide to Workplace Safety.
