Mal Meninga – Safety Ambassador for Zero Harm

Mal Meninga – Safety Ambassador for Zero Harm

QLD Rugby League legend Mal Meninga has been named as a safety ambassador.  Mal has a personal belief in the importance of the Zero Harm at Work Program—and the devastating potential consequences it addresses—as his father died tragically as the result of a workplace incident.

State of Origin coach and rugby league legend, Mal Meninga, is once again our Safety Ambassador. Mal is personally committed to the importance of zero harm at work and will be sharing his experiences at events and activities around the state.

Zero Harm at Work aims to build a positive safety culture in Queensland workplaces to help reduce the number and seriousness of workplace health and safety incidents in Queensland. Zero harm means no harm to anyone, anytime while at work.

The Awards, run each year by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and the Electrical Safety Office encourage workplaces to develop and share innovative safety solutions that contribute towards a zero harm at work culture so that workers return home to their loved ones at the end of each day.
