With the release of the 2016/17 edition of the National Guide to Public Works and Services Safety, Pro-Visual Publishing alongside the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia brings interactivity to safety. This guide, has Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities, opening a window into more engaging world of safety.

This year, the guide cover two key areas in depth within public works and services industry:

· Traffic management on worksites

· Asbestos risk management

With this knowledge and valuable information at hand, workers will understand the correct way to manage asbestos in the workplace as well as the correct steps in asbestos removal. Workers within the public works and services industry are well aware of the high traffic movement on a site. It is instances like these that can cause a fatal injury to workers, visitors or members of the public if not managed properly.

“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Public Works & Services Safety 2016/17. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.”
