Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2018 – Released

clubsClub Managers have a legal obligation to provide a workplace that is safe and healthy for employees and patrons. Therefore, being proactive about safety and understanding WHS obligations is essential to maintaining health and safety – so that everyone can return home the same way they left it, without injury.

Pro-Visual Publishing, in cooperation with the National Safety Council of Australia Foundation, has released the latest edition of the Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety, now with interactive Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities.

The Guide covers a range of topics including:

· Staff training: response to holdup and violent situations.

· Emergency preparedness and evacuation.

· Hazardous substances and cellar safety.

· Safe manual handling.

· First aid and infection control.

With the element of AR, guides are transformed into a training resource and a portal for further resources, accessible via the free Pro-Vis AR app. Displaying the Guide will assist Club Managers in meeting their WHS obligations as well as provide essential health and safety information to all workers within the club.

“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2018. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.”
