Wine Producers Guide to Safety 2018 – Released

winePro-Visual Publishing, in partnership with Australian Vignerons and Wine Federation Australia, has released the latest edition of the interactive Wine Producers Guide to Safety. Displaying the guide in wineries, vineyards and distilleries across Australia will serve as a constant visual reminder of the importance of health and safety and reducing potential hazards.

Key areas covered in the 2018 edition of the Guide include:

· Machinery safety, for example powered snips and pruners.

· Recognising symptoms, and preventing heat stress.

· The GHS, which is mandatory in all states from 1 January 2017.

By downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app, workers in the wine industry can also use their smart device to gain access to further resources, for example, the manual handing 3D model. This essential resource for wineries and vineyards will help ensure the health and safety of everyone involved in the winemaking and/or distilling process.

“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Wine Producers Guide to Safety 2018. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.”

– John Hutchings, CEO, Pro-Visual Publishing.
