Cotton Industry Guide to Safety 2017/18 – Released

cottonCotton farmers and growers face numerous potential hazards on a daily basis that can result serious or life-threatening injuries when safety measures are not followed. To help raise awareness of key hazards and safety concerns within the cotton farming industry Pro-Visual Publishing has released the 2017/18 edition of the Cotton Industry Guide to Safety.

This years’ guide provides detailed information on the following safety issues:

· Harvesting machinery safety.

· WHS duties and obligations.

· Dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals safety.

· Assessing and controlling manual handling risks.

The Augmented Reality (AR) features of the guide also provide a window to further resources, such as an informative PDF about the labelling of workplace hazardous chemicals and the preparation of safety data sheets for hazardous chemicals.
